The Illinois Student Ministries Internship Program exists to expose college students to different ministries at the district level. It will provide the opportunity to work closely with the ISM office staff, including our District Student Ministries Director, Chris Stanley.
The Internship move in date will be May 8, 2023, with the program running through August 4th, 2023. On-time arrival and completion through the end of the internship time period is REQUIRED!
The ISM Internship is a highly administrative position which will enable students to participate in the behind-the-scenes aspects of district level ministry, especially in youth and children’s camps. Students should show a proficiency in basic computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel, and have the ability to learn new computer programs (i.e. the District Camp Software). Students should possess basic inter-personal skills and demonstrate professional telephone etiquette.

Should your application progress, an interview will be scheduled with the District Student Ministries Director, Chris Stanley. All intern applicants must have a completed pastoral reference on file to be considered. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance no later than April 8th of the internship year.
Please include a recent photograph and a copy of your insurance card along with the essay, pastoral reference and application.
